Tottenham Hotspur continued their winning streak as they overpowered Ferencvaros by 2-1 in the Europa League. Their next challenge now lies against Brighton in an away fixture and it’s expected to be a good game between the two sides.
Spurs are eighth in the Premier League points table with 10 points after six matches play. They have good confidence and momentum behind them and should be fired up to collect all three points going into the clash this Sunday.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Brighton
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario was good enough for Tottenham Hotspur in the previous game. He remains the man with the gloves for them. Pedro Porro was brilliant and should continue as the right-back in the starting XI.
Cristian Romero remains an automatic pick at the heart of the defence. On the other hand, Micky van de Ven is set to walk back into the XI, replacing Archie Gray.
It’s a big boost for the Spurs as Destiny Udogie has regained full fitness. He will be able to participate in this game. He is expected to send Ben Davies back to the bench for the left full-back role.
Midfield
Boss Ange Postecoglou could field a different trio in the midfield than the previous game. The likes of Yves Bissouma, Pape Matar Sarr, and Lucas Bergvall featured in the middle of the park on Thursday night.
However, this time it could be Dejan Kulusevski deployed with the duo of James Maddison and Rodrigo Bentancur to control the midfield.
Attack
Son Heung-min will miss the tie as Postecogloue doesn’t want to rush the star who is suffering from a thigh injury. In this absence, Timo Werner is likely to continue operating on the left flank. Brennan Johnson and Dominic Solanke will be unsurprisingly called up for the important game.
Wilson Odobert (hamstring) and Richarlison (unspecified) are still sidelined.
