Talented Forward Is Open To A Return To Arsenal: Should Arteta Bring Him Back To North London?

In a recent interview with TV2, Sturm Graz forward Mika Biereth revealed that he is open to a return to Arsenal. Biereth said,

“Things are going well in Sturm Graz. have nothing to complain about right now.

“I play every week at a good level, and now we also play in the Champions League, where I’m still waiting for my first goal.

“If I keep playing well and scoring goals, hopefully a change can come, but right now I’m focused on Sturm and on doing well and scoring goals.

“A return back to Arsenal would be fantastic, but it’s not something I’m focusing on right now.”

Biereth’s Impressive Rise In Austrian Football

The Danish striker has enjoyed a great run of form at Sturm Graz this season as he has managed to put in a series of productive displays for them in the final third. Biereth has banged in eight goals and earned one assist in 13 matches for the Austrian outfit this season in all competitions.

The 21-year-old has caught the eye at times with his performances in Europe based on his average of 1.0 shots, 0.5 key passes and 1.0 dribbles per 90 minutes in the UEFA Champions League. However, he has lacked quality when distributing the ball in the opponent’s half, as evidenced by his pass success rate of 50% in European football (stats via whoscored).

Should Arsenal Boss Mikel Arteta Bring Biereth Back To North London?

Biereth can find a yard of space for himself to get a few strikes in at goal. He has got the vision to create some inviting chances for his teammates in the final third and is a good dribbler with the ball as well.

The Danish talent has added plenty of goals to his game this season but it remains to be seen whether he can maintain his good form in England if Arsenal decide to move in for him next year.

Biereth would no doubt add more quality to Mikel Arteta‘s frontline. He is good enough to serve as a decent, rotational piece in the North London club‘s squad. At 21, the future looks quite bright for Biereth, so Arteta should focus on bringing him back to the English capital in 2025.
