Tottenham Hotspur will welcome West Ham United at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they hope to secure all three points at home in the London derby. Spurs suffered a tough 3-2 defeat away at Brighton and Hove Albion before the international break, so they will be eager to secure a win this weekend.
Ange Postecoglu will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this game. Hence, Dominic Solanke will once again get the nod to lead the line for the North London club up top.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face West Ham United
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will feature in between the sticks for Spurs after conceding three goals in his last outing. Micky van de Ven will function alongside Cristian Romero at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they hope to keep things solid at the back during the game.
Pedro Porro would try to catch the eye as the right-back while Destiny Udogie looks to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Radu Dragusin will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski will make up Tottenham’s midfield. All three of them need to be at the top of their game if Spurs are to create enough chances to win this derby.
Yves Bissouma and Pape Matar Sarr will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Timo Werner will get a chance to shine on the left flank while Brennan Johnson looks to give a good account of himself as the right-sided wide player. Dominic Solanke will lead the charge for the North London club in the final third. The English talent has to find a way to threaten the West Ham goal this weekend.
Both Richarlison and Heung-min Son are major doubts for this game. However, Mikey Moore will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if needed.
