4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Liverpool
Defence
Robert Sanchez had a mixed performance against Nottingham Forest. Hence, he will be extra motivated to do better against Liverpool this weekend.
Though Reece James is back in the pack, he is unlikely to start this game. It means Malo Gusto should keep his right-back position. Wesley Fofana is suspended for this game and Axel Disasi is expected to be deployed to pair up with Levi Colwill at the heart of the defence.
Marc Cucurella picked his fifth yellow card of the season and will not play this tie. Hence, Renato Veiga is likely to start don the left-back role as Ben Chilwell continues to be in the bad books.
Midfield
Enzo Maresca wouldn’t want to take any risks with his midfield by making any changes this weekend. Hence, the duo of Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez remain intact. However, they will have to put on their everything if they want to overpower the ruthless Liverpool.
Attack
Noni Madueke continues to operate on the right wing with Jadon Sancho attacking on the other side of the pitch. The star man, Cole Palmer carries on to feature in the middle of the pitch to provide a bridge between the midfield and the attack.
No change in the striker role but Nicolas Jackson needs to step up his game and provide clinical finishing touches.
