Manchester City welcomed Sparta Praha at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Pep Guardiola‘s men made a quick start to the game and scored the opening goal in the third minute when Phil Foden found the back of the net. Man City controlled the game well and went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Erling Haaland doubled his team’s advantage in the 58th minute before John Stones killed the game off just six minutes later. Haaland scored for Man City in the 68th minute. Matheus Nunes put the home team 5-0 up from the penalty spot late in the game as the Mancunian giants earned a dominant 5-0 win at the Etihad.
