As revealed by TBR Football, Premier League club Manchester United have been offered an opportunity to sign Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) attacker Randal Kolo Muani, who has fallen down the packs under manager Luis Enrique.
Randal Kolo Muani’s PSG has fallen apart
Randal Kolo Muani came under the limelight during his stint at Eintracht Frankfurt. Impressed by his performances, PSG signed him for a huge sum last summer. However, the signing hasn’t worked for both parties so far.
Muani, who plays as a centre forward, is well known for his pace and trickery. He exploits the spaces really well and also links up well with his teammates. With decent dribbling skills and clinical finishing abilities, he is a complete package upfront.
However, the French attacker has failed to adapt to the French league and meet the expectations of everyone. He has managed to score only 11 goals in 49 appearances. As he continues to perform below par, PSG won’t mind offloading him in the near future.
Manchester United shouldn’t sign more strikers
Erik ten Hag‘s Manchester United have been struggling to score goals this season despite good reinforcement in the summer. New signing Joshua Zirkzee has failed to adapt to the English league and match up with the intensity. On the other hand, the recurring injuries to Rasmus Hojlund are doing no good.
However, if considered thoroughly, the Red Devils don’t need any more attackers. They already have two quality strikers in their pack and the likes of Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho and Amad Diallo for the wide areas.
It would make more sense if Manchester United invested money in signing a prominent midfielder. They lack quality in the midfield and need someone who can provide stability in the middle of the park. Muani’s signing should only be considered if one of their two strikers departs, which has very little probability.
