Chelsea welcomed Nottingham Forest at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they secured a victory at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a solid start to the contest but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Chris Wood opened the goal-scoring for the visitors in the 49th minute but Noni Madueke equalised for Enzo Maresca’s side just eight minutes later. James Ward-Prowse was sent off by the referee in the 78th minute but Chelsea had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw in front of their home fans.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against Nottingham Forest.
GK: Robert Sanchez – 8/10
Sanchez made a lot of important saves at the back and did well to limit the opposition to just one goal.
RB: Malo Gusto – 6.5/10
He didn’t do much wrong at the back and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
CB: Wesley Fofana – 7/10
Fofana cleared his lines when he could but failed to keep a clean sheet.
CB: Levi Colwill – 6.5/10
He earned the ball back a few times and was good on the ball.

Cucurella did his fair share of defending but struggled to make an impact going forward.
CM: Moises Caicedo – 6.5/10
He anchored the midfield well but offered very little in the Nottingham half.
CM: Enzo Fernandez – 7/10
The Argentine talent was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

He was a constant menace in the final third and scored the all-important equaliser in the 57th minute.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 7.5/10
Palmer caused a lot of headaches for the opposition defenders and ended the game with an assist to his name.
LW: Jadon Sancho – 7/10
He was a real threat on the left wing but failed to find the back of the net.
