Manchester City welcomed Fulham at the Etihad Stadium earlier tonight as they looked to secure a victory at home in the Premier League. The Mancunian club made a slow start to the contest and conceded the opening goal in the 26th minute when Andreas Pereira put the visitors ahead. However, Mateo Kovacic equalised for the home team just six minutes later as the two sides went into the half-time break with a 1-1 scoreline.
Kovacic scored again for Pep Guardiola‘s side in the 47th minute before Jeremy Doku got his name on the scoresheet in the 82nd minute. Rodrigo Muniez got a goal back for the Cottagers late in the game but Man City hung on to secure a hard-fought 3-2 win at the Etihad.
