Barcelona will entertain Sevilla at the Nou Camp this Sunday night as they hope to secure a positive result at home in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to secure a 3-0 win over Deportivo Alaves before the international break which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Hansi Flick will set his players up in a 4-2-3-1 formation and is expected to make some tweaks to his first team for this clash. Jules Kounde and Eric Garcia could both play from the start of this game.
4-2-3-1 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Sevilla
Defence
Inaki Pena will function in between the sticks for the Catalan club after keeping a clean sheet in his last league outing. Inigo Martinez will operate alongside Pau Cubarsi at the centre of the Barca backline as they hope to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will fill in as the right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to prove his worth on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Hector Fort will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Eric Garcia and Marc Casado will anchor the midfield for the Catalan club as they look to establish their dominance over the opposition in the middle of the park. The talented trio of Raphinha, Pedri and Lamine Yamal will play just ahead of them as part of Flick’s attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to engineer enough clear-cut chances for Barca to win this contest.
Frenkie de Jong and Ansu Fati will have to be content with a spot on the bench as they wait for their chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Robert Lewandowski will lead the line for the Catalan club in the final third. He has to find a way to be a constant menace in and around the Sevilla penalty area.
Ferras Torres will be sidelined for this game because of a hamstring injury. However, Pau Victor will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages if required.
