Jones And Salah Get 8 | Liverpool Players Rated In Hard-Fought Victory Vs Chelsea

Liverpool entertained Chelsea at Anfield earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 29th minute thanks to Mohamed Salah‘s penalty. Arne Slot’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Nicolas Jackson equalised for the visitors with a good finish just three minutes into the second half. However, Curtis Jones restored Liverpool’s lead in the 51st minute with a great touch and finish. The Reds protected their slender advantage well and secured a hard-fought 2-1 victory in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Liverpool player fared during the match against the Blues.

CB: Virgil Van Dijk – 6.5/10

The Dutch centre-back did his fair share of defending and was accurate with his passing.
