Tottenham Hotspur faced off against Brighton and Hove Albion at the American Express Community Stadium earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. Spurs made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 23rd minute when Brennan Johnson found the back of the net. James Maddison doubled his team’s lead in the 37th minute as Tottenham went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Yankuba Minteh got a goal back for Brighton in the 48th minute before Georginio Rutter equalised in the 58th minute. Danny Welbeck completed the turnaround and put his team 3-2 ahead just eight minutes later as the contest finished with Ange Postecoglu’s men suffering a tough 3-2 loss away from home.

The English striker had some bright moments in the opponent’s half and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
