Harrison To Start, Lindstrom On The Bench | 4-4-1-1 Everton Predicted Lineup Vs Newcastle United

Everton will welcome Newcastle United at Goodison Park this Saturday evening as they hope to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Toffees secured a hard-fought 2-1 win over Crystal Palace recently which should keep them in high spirits ahead of this game.

Sean Dyche will set his side up in a 4-4-1-1 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this clash. Jack Harrison could play from the start of this game while Jesper Lindstrom settles for a spot on the bench.

Defence

Jordan Pickford will function in goal for the Toffees after conceding once in his last league appearance. Jarrad Branthwaite will feature alongside James Tarkowski as they look to maintain a good shape on the defensive end of the field.

Ashley Young will try to prove his worth as the right-back while Vitaliy Mykolenko looks to give a good account of himself on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will have to perform their defensive duties well if they are to limit the chances that Newcastle create from the wide areas.

Michael Keane will be available for selection on the bench as he provides cover for the defensive positions.

Midfield

Abdoulaye Doucoure and Orel Mangala will operate as the holding midfielders as they look to make life tough for the opposition at the centre of the park. The talented trio of Iliman Ndiaye, Dwight McNeil and Jack Harrison will play just ahead of them as part of the Everton attack. All three of them need to combine well if they want to cause some problems for the opposition defenders.

Idrissa Gueye and James Garner will have to be content with a place on Dyche’s bench as they try to catch the eye in the second half if needed.

Attack

Dominic Calvert-Lewin will lead the charge for the West London club in the final third. He has to find a way to cause some headaches for the Newcastle centre-backs during the 90 minutes.

Beto will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the latter stages if required.
