Chelsea locked horns with Liverpool at Anfield earlier this evening as they focused on securing a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a decent start to the game but conceded a penalty which Mohamed Salah scored in the 29th minute. Enzo Maresca’s side failed to come up with a response and went into the half-time interval 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Nicolas Jackson equalised for the West London club in the 48th minute but Curtis Jones restored Liverpool’s lead just three minutes later. The match ended with Chelsea suffering a tough 2-1 loss away from home.
Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player fared during the match against Liverpool.

He put in a solid display in the first half. However, James was substituted in the 52nd minute.
CB: Tosin Adarabioyo – 5.5/10
Adarabioyo cleared his lines when he could but failed to keep things solid at the back.
CB: Levi Colwill – 6/10

CM: Moises Caicedo – 7/10
He was good on the ball and ended the game with an assist to his name.
CM: Romeo Lavia – 7/10
Lavia made a couple of crucial interceptions at the centre of the park and was a good dribbler with the ball as well. He was substituted early in the second half.
RW: Noni Madueke – 6.5/10
He caught the eye at times but failed to threaten the Liverpool goal.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 6/10
Palmer showed a few glimpses of what he could do but never looked like he would find the back of the net.

Jackson worked hard and took his chance well early in the second half.
