West Ham United secured a thumping 4-1 win against Ipswich Town in the Premier League. But they couldn’t carry it forward as they were thrashed by a similar scoreline against Tottenham Hotspur in the very next game.
Hence, the Hammers will be eyeing a comeback when they take on Manchester United on Sunday. It will be a tough game for them but they can overcome the huddle with the support of the home crowd.

Defence
Alphonse Areola didn’t have his big night in the previous game and needs to step up. He will have a key role to play against Manchester United. Right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka had a mixed performance against Spurs but keeps his pace in the side.
Konstantinos Mavropanos is expected to return at the heart of the defence to replace Jean-Clair Todibo and will accompany Max Kilman. Emerson starts as the left full-back yet again and his aggressive nature could be useful in such games.
Midfield
Julen Lopetegui is expected to bring Edson Alvarez as the deep-lying midfielder and send Guido Rodriguez on the bench. Tomas Soucek and Lucas Paqueta are deployed in the middle of the park and they will work hard to overpower the United’s midfielders.
While Jarrod Bowen operates on the right wing, the Hammers will be without the services of Mohammed Kudus, who will spend a three-match suspension after his violent actions against Tottenham Hotspur. Crysencio Summerville is the prime contender to replace him on the left wing.
Attack
Michail Antonio leads the attacking front once again but he has still a lot of areas to improve and help his side up front.
Niclas Fullkrug is the only absentee for West Ham United due to his sore calf.
