Chelsea have scored three or most goals in each of their last four games across all competitions. They are in red-hot form and would be hoping to carry it on when they lock horns with Nottingham Forest in the Premier League this weekend.
The Blues are fourth in the domestic league points table with only one defeat after six games. Their improved displays under the new boss Enzo Maresca are now catching eyeballs across the league.
4-2-3-1 Chelsea Predicted Lineup Vs Nottingham Forest
Defence
Filip Jorgensen was given a chance in the previous game but Robert Sanchez is likely to return at the goal despite the former’s impressive performance. Enzo Maresca fielded an entirely different backline in the Europa League which consisted of Axel Disasi, Tosin Adarabioyo, Benoit Badiashile, and Renato Veiga.
However, the regular full-backs Malo Gusto and Marc Cucurella are likely to be called back alongside the centre-back duo of Wesley Fofana and Levi Colwill.
Midfield
Even Moises Caicedo and Enzo Fernandez were given a much-needed rest to keep them fresh. Both the midfielder will return to operate in the middle of the park. No doubt that they will have to work hard to ensure the motor of the side works against Nottingham Forest.
Attack
While Jadon Sancho operates on the left flank, Noni Madueke will be deployed to take care of the right wing. As usual, Cole Palmer will be playing in the middle and all eyes will be upon him. The English international scored four goals against Brighton and shocked everyone with his quality once again.
Nicolas Jackson will also return to lead the offensive pack. He has improved a lot when compared to his version of the previous season. The Blues will be hoping that he continues to develop his game and helps them win trophies.
