According to Bild, Chelsea recently scouted Borussia Dortmund attacker Jamie Gittens. The Premier League club are impressed with the youngster and could make an attempt to sign him in the 2025 summer transfer window.

Jamie Gittens is the latest bright prospect in English football. He represented multiple clubs at the club level before signing for Borussia Dortmund in 2020. He went on to make his senior team debut in 2022 and has taken huge strides since then.
Gittens netted two goals and provided eight assists in 34 games last season. He averaged 1.7 shots, 0.7 key passes, and 1.7 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The English attacker primarily plays on the left wing but can also operate on the other side if needed. He is known for his pace, skills, and shooting range. He is extremely good in one-on-one situations and also makes good off-the-ball movements.
Jamie Gittens is a complete winger
Chelsea have been aggressively targeting young talents from across the globe for some time. So their interest in Jamie Gittens is least surprising. Though they don’t need another winger realistically, they can buy him while keeping long-term benefits in mind.
Gittens has shown that he has all the qualities and traits to succeed in the Premier League. He has the physical strength and explosiveness to impact games on a positive side. He can be transformed into an elite winger should he continue to develop his game with more experience.
However, the Blues might find it tough to sign him given the high financial demands. Borussia Dortmund are a tough side to negotiate and they have a proven record of securing the best deals for themselves. Apart from this factor, Chelsea will also face stiff competition from the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur for the hot property.
