In a recent report, Fichajes claimed that Barcelona have joined the race for Recreational de Huelva teenager Davinchi. It has been stated that the Catalan club would have to rival Real Madrid in the race to land the Spanish left-back.
Davinchi’s Impressive Rise In Spanish Football
Davinchi has come through the youth ranks of Recreational and has done well to break into their first team recently. The 16-year-old has found the back of the net once and secured one assist in six matches for the Spanish outfit thus far across all fronts.
The Spanish talent has caught the eye at times with his performances on the left flank. At the moment, he is one of the best young left-backs in Spanish football, so it makes sense for Barcelona to go all out to secure his services next year.
His current contract at the Spanish club will run out in the summer of 2027. Hence, the Catalan club has to make a big offer if they are serious about recruiting Davinchi this winter or at the end of this campaign.
Barcelona Have Joined The Race For Davinchi: Is He A Prospect For The Future?
Davinchi is a solid tackler of the ball and can time his challenges well to earn the ball back for his team inside his half. He usually clears his lines when required and is a decent dribbler with the ball at his feet.
The Brazilian talent can strike the ball well from long range and has got the vision to create the odd chance for his teammates from the left flank. However, he is still raw and would need time to prove his worth at the highest level.
Davinchi has the potential to become a future starter at the Nou Camp if Barcelona can find a way to get him on board in 2025. At 16, the gifted left-back is undoubtedly a prospect to watch out for in the future.
However, Hansi Flick has to be patient with his progress before he can unlock the best out of Davinchi at the Catalan club. All in all, Barca should focus on getting a deal done for him as he would be a great addition to their academy next year.
