Barcelona locked horns with Girona at the Estadi Montilivi earlier today as they looked to secure a victory on the road in La Liga. The Catalan club made a good start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 30th minute when Lamine Yamal found the back of the net. Yamal doubled Barca’s advantage just seven minutes later as Hansi Flick’s men went into the half-time break 2-0 up on the scoreline.
Dani Olmo scored Barcelona’s third goal in the 47th minute before Pedri put the match to bed in the 64th minute when he joined in on the goal-scoring act. Cristhian Stuani scored a late consolation goal for the home team before Ferran Torres was sent off by the referee in the 86th minute.
