Arsenal will entertain Paris Saint-Germain at the Emirates Stadium this Tuesday night as they look to earn a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. The Gunners managed to earn a hard-fought 4-2 win over Leicester City which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to keep changes to a minimum for this clash. Gabriel Martinelli will once again play from the start of this game while Raheem Sterling has to settle for a spot on the bench.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Paris Saint-Germain
Defence
David Raya will feature in between the sticks for the Gunners after shipping in a couple of goals in his last appearance. William Saliba will continue to play alongside Gabriel at the centre of the Arsenal backline as they try to keep the PSG attackers quiet during the game.
Jurrien Timber will be a nailed-on starter as the right-back while Riccardo Calafiori looks to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opposition half.
Jakub Kiwior will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Arteta could choose to go with a midfield comprised of Kai Havertz, Thomas Partey and Declan Rice as they try to dominate possession at the centre of the park and create some inviting chances in the final third.
Martin Odegaard is still sidelined for Arsenal due to an ankle injury. However, Jorginho will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if needed.
Attack
Bukayo Saka will continue to function as the right-sided wide player while Gabriel Martinelli looks to catch the eye on the left flank. Leandro Trossard will be given the responsibility to lead the charge for the Gunners up top. He managed to score against the Foxes which should keep him in good spirits going into this European clash.
Gabriel Jesus will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
