Aston Villa entertained Everton at Villa Park earlier this evening as they looked to earn a win at home in the Premier League. The Villans made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 16th minute when Dwight McNeil found the back of the net. Dominic Calvert-Lewin doubled Everton’s advantage just 11 minutes later. However, Ollie Watkins got a goal back for the home side in the 36th minute as Unai Emery’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 down on the scoreline.
Watkins equalised for the Villans in the 58th minute before Jhon Duran scored the winning goal in the 76th minute. The contest ended with Aston Villa earning a hard-fought 3-2 victory in front of their home fans.
