West Ham United will face off against Fulham at Craven Cottage this Saturday afternoon as they look to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of Manchester City before the international break, so they would be keen to bounce back with a win this weekend.
Julen Lopetegui will set his team up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make a couple of changes to his first team for this game. Both Tomas Soucek and Crysencio Summerville will get a chance to play from the start of this contest.
4-3-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Fulham
Defence
Alphonse Areola will function in goal for West Ham after shipping in three goals in his last league outing. Max Kilman will continue to play alongside Konstantinos Mavropanos at the centre of Lopetegui’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will play as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them would have to perform their defensive duties well if the Hammers are to grind out a result at Craven Cottage this weekend.
Vladimir Coufal will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Lucas Paqueta, Edson Alvarez and Tomas Soucek will make up Lopetegui’s midfield as they try to win the 50-50 duels during the game. All three of them need to work hard on making life difficult for the home team at the centre of the park.
Guido Rodriguez will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Crysencio Summerville will try to shine on the left flank while Mohammed Kudus hopes to make a difference from the right. Jarrod Bowen will lead the line for the Hammers up top. He would be keen on putting his pace to good use in the final third.
Niclas Fullkrug will be sidelined for this game due to injury. However, Michail Antonio will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages of the game if required.
