Tottenham Hotspur will welcome Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they focus on collecting all three points at home in the Premier League. Spurs managed to earn a hard-fought 2-1 win over Coventry City recently which should give them some confidence going into this game.
Ange Postecoglu will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make a lot of changes to his first XI for this clash. Heung-min Son, Brennan Johnson and Cristian Romero will play from the start of this game.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Brentford
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will play in between the sticks for the North London giants after he was rested in midweek. Cristian Romero will hope to prove his worth alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the 90 minutes.
Pedro Porro will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Destiny Udogie looks to fill in on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Ben Davies and Radu Dragusin will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
James Maddison, Yves Bissouma and Dejan Kulusevski could make up Tottenham’s midfield this weekend. However, Bissouma is a slight concern ahead of this game.
Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr will be available for selection on the bench and might come on in the second 45 minutes if Postecoglu opts to call upon their services.
Attack
Heung-min Son would try to make a difference from the left-wing while Brennan Johnson looks to shine as the right-sided wide player. Dominic Solanke will spearhead Tottenham’s attack down the middle. He would be eager to find the back of the net this weekend after failing to do so versus Coventry recently.
Timo Werner is a major doubt for this game but could feature on Postecoglu’s bench. However, Wilson Odobert is unlikely to recover in time for this clash.
