Newcastle United faced off against Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier this evening as they looked to earn a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 36th minute when Mario Lemina found the back of the net for the home team. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.
Fabian Schar equalised for the Magpies in the 75th minute before Harvey Barnes completed the turnaround just five minutes later. The contest ended with Newcastle earning a narrow 2-1 win at the Molineux.

Schar cleared the danger when he could and was a threat at the other end of the field. He managed to score the all-important equaliser in the 75th minute.

He put his foot through the ball when required and was accurate with his passing.

Hall was a positive influence at both ends of the field.

He struggled to get a foothold in the game and was substituted at half-time.

Guimaraes made two positive runs with the ball and managed to pick up an assist as well.
CM: Joelinton – 6/10
Joelinton came back to defend when he could but was quiet in the opponent’s half. He was replaced at half-time as well.
RW: Jacob Murphy – 6/10
He caught the eye at times but never looked like he would score.
ST: Alexander Isak – 6/10
Isak struggled to impress in the first half and was substituted at the half-time break.
LW: Anthony Gordon – 7.5/10
He made a lot of dangerous runs with the ball and did everything but score this evening.

Tonali was not shy of having a strike at goal.

He managed to create a few meaningful chances for others around him and has got an assist to show for his efforts.
