Real Madrid will welcome Stuttgart at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium this Tuesday night as they hope to secure a positive result at home in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos managed to earn a solid 2-0 win away at Real Sociedad recently which should give them a ton of confidence ahead of this game.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his side up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this clash. Rodrygo is expected to play from the start of this game in the injury absence of Brahim Diaz.
4-3-3 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Stuttgart
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will operate in between the sticks for Los Blancos after keeping a clean sheet in his last appearance. Antonio Rudiger will resume his defensive partnership with Eder Militao at the centre of the Real Madrid defence as they look to keep things solid on the defensive end of the field.
Dani Carvajal will operate as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Lucas Vazquez and Fran Garcia will offer cover for the full-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
Federico Valverde and Luka Modric will operate as the holding midfielders while Arda Guler plays in an advanced role as an attacking midfielder. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer some clear-cut chances in the final third.
Chema Andres will make up the numbers on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Vinicius Jr. will try to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Rodrygo hopes to catch the eye as the right-sided wide player. Kylian Mbappe will spearhead Ancelotti’s attack down the middle. The French striker managed to score from the penalty spot against Real Sociedad which should keep him in good spirits going into this game.
Endrick will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the match if required.
