Barcelona will entertain Getafe at the Nou Camp this Wednesday night as they look to secure a victory at home in La Liga. The Catalan club managed to earn a dominant 5-1 win away at Villarreal which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Hansi Flick will stick with his favoured 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make one change to his first XI for this game. Inaki Pena will play from the start of this contest as Marc-Andre ter Stegen is sidelined due to a serious injury.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Getafe
Defence
Inaki Pena will play in between the sticks for Barcelona as he looks to keep a clean sheet this week. Inigo Martinez will continue to play alongside Sergi Dominguez at the centre of the Barcelona defence as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will be a nailed-on starter at right-back while Gerard Martin hopes to prove his worth on the other side as the left-back. Flick will give both of them the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Pau Cubarsi will offer cover for the centre-half positions on the bench.
Midfield
Pedri, Eric Garcia and Pablo Torre will make up Barcelona’s midfield as they try to establish their superiority over the opposition in the middle of the park. All three of them produced a great display collectively against Villarreal and would be hoping to do the same versus Getafe this Wednesday night.
Marc Casado will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Raphinha will try to shine as the left-winger while Lamine Yamal looks to make a difference from the right flank. Both of them would focus on getting in behind the opponent’s backline at every chance they get.
Robert Lewandowski will lead the charge for Barca up top. The Polish forward bagged a brace in his last league outing, so we can expect him to be a potent threat in the final third.
Ansu Fati will be available for selection on the bench as he awaits his opportunity to impress in the latter stages of the game.
