Palmer Gets 7.5, Jackson With 7 | Chelsea Players Rated In Lackluster Draw Vs Crystal Palace

Chelsea entertained Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge earlier today as they hoped to secure a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Blues made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 25th minute thanks to Nicolas Jackson’s effort. Enzo Maresca’s men went into the half-time interval 1-0 up on the scoreline.

Eberechi Eze equalised for the Eagles in the 53rd minute. The Blues failed to find the winning goal and had to settle for a lackluster 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge.

Let’s take a look at how each Chelsea player performed during the clash against the Eagles.

GK: Robert Sanchez – 6.5/10

He made a couple of solid saves at the back but won’t be pleased about conceding the equaliser early in the second half.

RB: Malo Gusto – 6/10

Gusto worked hard defensively but offered very little going forward.

CB: Wesley Fofana – 7/10

He cleared his lines when needed and was good on the ball.

CB: Levi Colwill – 7/10

Colwill didn’t do much wrong at the back and was a threat at the other end of the field.

LB: Marc Cucurella – 6.5/10

Cucurella made one good run with the ball but failed to make a difference from the left-back position.

CM: Moises Caicedo – 7/10

He anchored the midfield with conviction but struggled to make an impact in the final third.

CM: Enzo Fernandez – 6.5/10

Fernandez got stuck in with a few solid tackles and made one decent chance up top.

RW: Noni Madueke – 6.5/10

Madueke used his pace well at times but there was no goal for him today.

CAM: Cole Palmer – 7.5/10

He engineered a few excellent chances for his teammates to score and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

LW: Pedro Neto – 6/10

Neto was quiet for most of his time on the field and was substituted in the 57th minute.

ST: Nicolas Jackson – 7/10

He was a real handful for the Palace defenders and opened the goal-scoring with an easy finish in the 25th minute.

ST: Joao Felix – 6.5/10

He caught the eye at times in the final third.

LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6.5/10
