Real Madrid faced off against Atletico Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano earlier tonight as they hoped to secure a win in the Madrid derby. Los Blancos made a solid start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
Eder Militao finally broke the deadlock in the 64th minute but Angel Correa scored an injury-time equaliser for the home team. Marcos Llorente was sent off by the referee in the dying embers of the game as it finished with Carlo Ancelotti’s men settling for a 1-1 draw in La Liga.

Rudiger cleared the danger when he could but failed to keep a clean sheet tonight.

He earned the ball back once but failed to impress at left-back.
RW: Federico Valverde – 7.5/10
Valverde came back to defend when needed and was not shy of having a strike at goal.
CM: Luka Modric – 7/10
He made a few decent chances for others around him and was tidy with his passing.
CM: Aurelien Tchouameni – 7/10
Tchouameni anchored the midfield with conviction but offered very little in the final third.
LW: Jude Bellingham – 6.5/10
He was a positive influence at both ends of the field but there was no goal for him.
ST: Rodrygo – 6.5/10
Rodrygo caught the eye at times but failed to register a goal tonight.
ST: Vinicius Jr. – 7.5/10
He caused some problems for the opposition defenders and picked up an assist for setting up Militao’s opener in the second half.
