Real Madrid welcomed Espanyol at the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium earlier tonight as they focused on securing all three points at home in La Liga. Los Blancos made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.
The visitors took a shock lead in the 54th minute when Thibaut Courtois scored an unfortunate own goal. However, Dani Carvajal equalised for Los Blancos just four minutes later before Rodrygo completed the turnaround when he scored in the 75th minute. Vinicius Jr. got his name on the scoresheet as well just three minutes later. Kylian Mbappe added another goal from the penalty spot in the 90th minute as Real Madrid cruised to an impressive 4-1 victory in front of their home supporters.

He was a real menace in the Espanyol half but there was no goal for him.

Rodrygo was a constant threat on the left flank and managed to score in the 75th minute.
ST: Kylian Mbappe – 8.5/10
The French striker created a lot of chaos in and around the opponent’s penalty area and ended the game with a goal and an assist to his name.
