According to TEAMtalk, Manchester City are willing to offer €100 million to sign Bayern Munich star Jamal Musiala next summer. However, they will face stiff competition from the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, and Chelsea.
Jamal Musiala is the next big thing
In 2019, Jamal Musiala left Chelsea for Bayern Munich in hopes of establishing himself. He went on to make his professional debut for the German side in 2022. Since then, he hasn’t turned back and has kept on climbing up the ladders.
Musiala is considered one of the best footballers at present and is bound to have a bright future. He scored 12 goals and provided eight assists in 38 games last season. He averaged 2.4 shots, 1.8 ikey passes, and 3.6 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored).
The German player is versatile to play different roles in the attacking positions. He has great control over the ball and does effortless dribblings. He not only makes good chances but can also bury them around the penalty box.
Joining Manchester City will be exciting
Manchester City are set to go through a transition period soon as the veterans are edging towards the twilight of their respective careers. Kevin De Bruyne, who has been City’s main man over the past decade, is already 33 and can leave the club next summer.
The Citizens didn’t even opt for a replacement for Julian Alvarez, who left for Athletico Madrid before this season. Hence, it goes without saying that they need strong reinforcement in the squad. They need someone who shares the burden of scoring goals alongside Erling Haaland.
In that aspect, Jamal Musiala could be a perfect fit. He can run the show in the middle of the park and also link up with Haaland in the final third.
