Maddison Gets 9, Son With 8.5 | Tottenham Hotspur Players Rated In Hard-Fought Win Vs Brentford

Tottenham Hotspur entertained Brentford at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result at home in the Premier League. Spurs made a slow start to the game as they conceded the opener in the first minute when Bryan Mbuemo scored with a great finish. However, the North London club equalised in the eighth minute via Dominic Solanke’s tap-in from close range. Brennan Johnson completed the turnaround for Tottenham as he got his name on the scoresheet with a good finish in the 28th minute. Ange Postecoglu’s men went into the half-time break 2-1 up on the scoreline.

James Maddison killed the game off in the 85th minute as Tottenham earned a hard-fought 3-1 win in front of their home fans.

Let’s take a look at how each Tottenham Hotspur player fared during the contest against Brentford.

GK: Guglielmo Vicario – 7.5/10

Vicario made a few solid saves at the back but won’t be pleased about conceding an early goal.

RB: Pedro Porro – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well but offered very little going forward.

CB: Cristian Romero – 7/10

Romero cleared the danger when needed and was a threat at the other end of the field.

CB: Micky van de Ven – 7/10

He hardly put a foot wrong at the back and did enough to limit the opposition to just one goal.
