Real Madrid will face off against Lille at the Pierre Mauroy Stadium on Wednesday night as they try to secure a good result on the road in the UEFA Champions League. Los Blancos were held to a 1-1 draw by Atletico Madrid in the Madrid derby recently, so they would be keen on securing a victory in midweek.
Carlo Ancelotti will opt for the 4-3-1-2 formation and is expected to make some changes to his first team for this game. Andriy Lunin, Lucas Vazquez and Eduardo Camavinga could get a chance to impress from the start of this contest.
4-3-1-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face LOSC Lille
Defence
Andriy Lunin will operate in between the sticks for the Madrid outfit as he looks to keep a clean sheet away from home. Antonio Rudiger will continue to feature alongside Eder Militao at the centre of Ancelotti’s defence as they look to maintain a good shape on the defensive end of the field.
Lucas Vazquez will fill in as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Ancelotti will instruct both of them to pick and choose their moments to join in on the attack.
Fran Garcia and Jesus Vallejo will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Aurelien Tchouameni, Eduardo Camavinga and Federico Valverde will anchor the midfield for the Madrid outfit as they focus on establishing their superiority over the opposition at the centre of the park. Jude Bellingham will play just ahead of them in the number ten position and is expected to carry most of the creative workload for his team in the final third.
Luka Modric will be rested on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if needed.
Attack
Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. will lead the line for Los Blancos up top. Both of them need to find a way to cause a lot of problems for the Lille defenders this Wednesday night.
Endrick will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the final quarter of the game if required.
