According to TeamTalk, Liverpool are keeping taks on Eintracht Frankfurt ace Omar Marmoush. The Premier League will make a move for him if the situation demands with the player already wanting to join the English league next season.
Who is Omar Marmoush?
Omar Marmoush joined Eintracht Frankfurt last summer on a free transfer. While many had little hope for the move, the transfer turned out to be good. The player not only settled well but also started hitting the ground really quickly.
Marmoush netted 17 goals and provided six assists in 41 games. He averaged 2.7 shots, 1.4 key passes, and 1.3 dribbles per game (stats via whoscored). His impressive performances have attracted interest from multiple European clubs.
The Egyptian plays as a striker but can also operate on the left wing or as an attacking midfielder. He is a good carrier of the ball and likes to cut inside. Whenever there is space, he doesn’t shy away from taking shots and dribbling is another strong point of the player.
Omar Marmoush can add value to Arne Slot’s side
Liverpool are tracking the progress of Omar Marmoush at Eintracht Frankfurt. If the situation demands, they might make an attempt in the winter window or else wait for the next summer.
Marmoush wants to follow his idol Mohamed Salah‘s footprint and prove himself in the Premier League. Going by this, it should be easier for the Reds to get his signature. However, they will still have to compete with the likes of Arsenal, Crystal Palace and West Ham in the race.
Talking about the value, the 25-year-old can be a good addition. His qualities and versatility in the final third would be great to have. He can serve at Anfield for many years to come. A lot will depend upon the demands of Eintracht Frankfurt to sanction the transfer.
