Barcelona will entertain Young Boys at the Nou Camp this Tuesday night as they look to secure a positive result in the UEFA Champions League. The Catalan club suffered a poor 4-2 loss at the hands of Osasuna recently which has drained their confidence ahead of this European contest in midweek.
Hansi Flick will set his men up in a 4-3-3 formation and is expected to make some changes to his starting XI for this game. Marc Casado, Raphinha and Lamine Yamal will get a chance to impress from the start of this clash.
4-3-3 Barcelona Predicted Lineup To Face Young Boys
Defence
Inaki Pena will continue to operate in between the sticks for the Catalan club after shipping in four goals against Osasuna in his last appearance. Inigo Martinez will resume his defensive partnership with Pau Cubarsi as they look to keep the opposition attackers frustrated throughout the 90 minutes.
Jules Kounde will get a chance to shine at right-back while Alejandro Balde hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and join in on the attack at every chance they get.
Hector Fort will provide cover for the defensive positions on the bench. However, Andreas Christensen and Ronald Araujo remain sidelined for Barcelona due to injuries.
Midfield
Pedri, Marc Casado and Pablo Torre will make up Barca’s midfield. Their main focus would be to dominate the ball and orchestrate some decent chances in the final third.
Eric Garcia is suspended for this game, so Guille Fernández could be named on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if needed.
Attack
Raphinha will try to give a good account of himself on the left wing while Lamine Yamal hopes to make a difference from the right flank. Robert Lewandowski will spearhead Flick’s attack up top. The Polish striker has to find a way to cause some problems for the opposition defenders this Tuesday night.
Ferran Torres will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if Barcelona are in need of a goal by then.
