West Ham United will face off against Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park this Saturday as they look to bounce back with a win on their travels in the Premier League. The Hammers suffered a tough 2-1 loss against the Villans last weekend, so they would be eager to pick up maximum points from this league game.
Julen Lopetegui would opt for the 4-3-3 formation and could make some changes to his first XI for this clash. Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jean-Clair Todibo will both get a chance to impress from the start of this game.
4-3-3 West Ham United Predicted Lineup To Face Crystal Palace
Defence
Alphonse Areola will feature in between the sticks for the Hammers after shipping in a couple of goals in his last outing. Jean-Clair Todibo will function alongside Max Kilman at the heart of Lopetegui’s defence as they try to keep the opposition at bay during the game.
Aaron Wan-Bissaka will fill in as the right-back while Emerson Palmieri hopes to catch the eye on the other side as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Konstantinos Mavropanos will offer cover for the centre-back positions on the bench.
Midfield
Lopetegui could name a midfield three of Lucas Paqueta, Guido Rodriguez and Tomas Soucek for this clash at Selhurst Park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they are to engineer enough chances for West Ham to win this game.
Edson Alvarez is a major doubt for this contest as he continues to recover from a thigh injury. However, James Ward-Prowse will be available for selection on the bench and might come on to make an impact in the second half if required.
Attack
Mohammed Kudus would try to give a good account of himself on the left flank while Jarrod Bowen hopes to put his pace to good use as the right-winger. Michail Antonio will lead the line for the East London club down the middle. He has to find a way to get his name on the scoresheet this weekend after shooting blanks in the Premier League opener against Aston Villa.
Niclas Fullkrug will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to influence the game in the latter stages if needed.
