Arsenal will entertain Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium this Saturday afternoon as they hope to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners managed to earn an impressive 2-0 win away at Aston Villa recently which should keep them in good spirits ahead of this game.
Mikel Arteta will set his players up in a 4-3-3 formation and could make one change to his first XI for this game. Leandro Trossard will likely get a start against his former club while Gabriel Martinelli makes way for him and drops to the bench.
4-3-3 Arsenal Predicted Lineup To Face Brighton
Defence
David Raya will keep his spot in goal for the Gunners after keeping a clean sheet in his last league appearance. William Saliba will continue to function alongside Gabriel at the centre of Arteta’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Ben White will continue to operate as the right-back while Jurrien Timber hopes to catch the eye on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the opponent’s half.
Riccardo Calafiori will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Declan Rice, Thomas Partey and Martin Odegaard will once again make up Arsenal’s midfield as they try to get a stranglehold in the game at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to engineer enough chances for the Gunners to earn a convincing win this weekend.
Jorginho will be named on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second half if required.
Attack
Leandro Trossard will try to impress on the left flank versus his former club while Bukayo Saka hopes to weave his magic as the right-winger. Kai Havertz will lead the line for the North London club on the offensive end of the field.
Gabriel Martinelli will be available for selection on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if Arsenal are in need of a goal by then.
