Tottenham Hotspur will face off against Leicester City at the King Power Stadium this Monday night as they look to secure a win on the road in the Premier League. Spurs would be eager to get their Premier League campaign off to a good start by picking up all three points versus the Foxes.
Angelos Postecoglu will opt for the 4-3-3 formation and is expected to name a strong first XI for this game. Dominic Solanke will lead the line for the North London club on the offensive end of the field.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup To Face Leicester City
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario will operate in between the sticks for Spurs as he tries to keep a clean sheet away from home. Cristian Romero will function alongside Micky van de Ven at the centre of the Tottenham backline as they look to keep the opposition at bay throughout the 90 minutes.
Pedro Porro will fill in as the right-back while Destiny Udogie hopes to give a good account of himself on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the freedom to express themselves in the Leicester half.
Radu Dragusin and Ben Davies will provide cover for the defensive positions.
Midfield
James Maddison, Rodrigo Bentancur and Pape Matar Sarr will make up Tottenham’s midfield as they focus on winning the 50-50 duels at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they want to create some decent chances for their teammates to score.
Yves Bissouma will have to settle for a spot on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the second 45 minutes if required.
Attack
Heung-min Son will operate as the left-sided wide player while Dejan Kulusevski hopes to catch the eye as the right-winger. Dominic Solanke will spearhead Tottenham’s attack in the final third. He has to find a way to cause some problems for the Leicester defenders this weekend.
Brennan Johnson and Timo Werner will have to be content with a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the latter stages of the game if Spurs are in need of a goal by then.
