Arsenal entertained Brighton and Hove Albion at the Emirates Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result at home in the Premier League. The Gunners made a decent start to the game and got their noses ahead in the 38th minute when Kai Havertz scored with a good finish. Mikel Arteta‘s men went into the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Declan Rice was sent off by the referee in the 49th minute before Joao Pedro equalised for the visitors just nine minutes later. The North London club kept themselves in the game and had to settle for a 1-1 draw at the Emirates.
