Rogers Gets 7, Konsa With 6 | Aston Villa Players Rated In Lackluster Loss Vs Arsenal

Aston Villa welcomed Arsenal at Villa Park earlier this evening as they focused on securing a win at home in the Premier League. The Villans made a good start to the game and managed to get to the half-time break with a goalless scoreline.

The West Midlands club conceded the opener in the 67th minute when Leandro Trossard scored with a clever finish for the Gunners. Thomas Partey doubled Arsenal’s advantage just ten minutes later as Aston Villa crashed to a lackluster 2-0 loss at Villa Park.

Let’s take a look at how each Aston Villa player performed during the clash against the Gunners.

The Argentine keeper made a couple of good saves during the game and won’t be pleased after conceding twice in the second half.

CB: Pau Torres – 6/10

The Spaniard made two important clearances at the back but it was not enough in the end.

CB: Ezri Konsa – 6/10

He failed to keep things solid on the defensive end of the pitch.
