Raya, Partey And Saka Get 7.5 | Arsenal Players Rated In Impressive Win Vs Aston Villa

Arsenal locked horns with Aston Villa at Villa Park earlier this evening as they hoped to secure a positive result on the road in the Premier League. The Gunners made a good start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time interval.

Leandro Trossard finally broke the deadlock in the 67th minute when Leandro Trossard found the back of the net with a great finish. Thomas Partey doubled Arsenal’s advantage just ten minutes later as Mikel Arteta‘s men earned an impressive 2-0 win away from home.

Raya made a few important saves at the back and earned a vital clean sheet at Villa Park.

He cleared the danger when he could and was tidy with his passing.

LB: Jurrien Timber – 7/10

Timber caught the eye at times on the left flank and was replaced in the 79th minute.

CM: Martin Odegaard – 6.5/10

He made two decent chances for his teammates to score but was a bit wasteful in front of the opponent’s goal.

CM: Thoams Partey – 7.5/10

Partey anchored the midfield well and managed to score a good goal in the second half.

CM: Declan Rice – 7.5/10

The England international was full of energy and running at the centre of the park.

RW: Bukayo Saka – 7.5/10

Saka caused a few headaches for his marker and has got an assist to show for his efforts.

ST: Kai Havertz – 6/10

Havertz was a threat at times but failed to register a goal this evening.

LW: Gabriel Martinelli – 6.5/10

He began the game well but looked a bit tired in the second half. Martinelli was replaced after the hour mark.
