Chelsea locked horns with Wolverhampton Wanderers at the Molineux Stadium earlier today as they hoped to secure a good result on the road in the Premier League. The Blues made a good start to the game as they scored the opener in the second minute thanks to Nicolas Jackson’s effort. However, Matheus Cunha equalised for the home side in the 27th minute before Cole Palmer restored Chelsea’s lead with a great finish in the 45th minute.
Still, Wolves managed to equalise in the dying embers of the first half after Jorgen Strand Larsen found the back of the net from close range. The two teams went into the half-time interval with a 2-2 scoreline.
Chelsea turned the game on its head soon after the restart as they raced to a three-goal lead in the second half thanks to a quick-fire hattrick from Noni Madueke. Joao Felix came off the bench and added another goal in the 80th minute as the Blues earned an impressive 6-2 win away from home.

He caught the eye at times in the middle of the park and was strong in the air.

Fernandez got stuck in with some solid tackles and made two decent chances for his teammates to score.
RW: Noni Madueke – 10/10
He caused a lot of problems for the Wolves defenders and scored a fine hat-trick in the second half to make the difference for his team.
CAM: Cole Palmer – 9.5/10
Palmer was a constant menace in the final third and has got three assists and a goal to his name.
LW: Mykhailo Mudryk – 6/10
He failed to impress in the first half and was replaced at the half-time break.
ST: Nicolas Jackson – 8/10
Jackson managed to score the opening goal early in the game and also picked up an assist.
