Mamardashvili had a solid campaign at the Spanish club as he put in a series of impressive displays for them in La Liga. The 23-year-old made 37 appearances for Valencia in the league, conceding 41 goals and keeping 13 clean sheets in all competitions.
The Georgian talent did well to average 1.1 clearances and 5.6 long balls per 90 minutes in La Liga. However, he was woeful when distributing the ball from the back after completing just 46.9% of his attempted passes in the top tier of Spanish football (stats via whoscored).
