Gordon Gets 8, Joelinton With 5 | Newcastle United Players Rated In Hard-Fought Draw Vs Bournemouth

Newcastle United clashed heads with Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium earlier today as they hoped to earn a good result on their travels in the Premier League. The Magpies made a slow start to the game and conceded the opening goal in the 37th minute when Marcus Tavernier found the back of the net. Eddie Howe’s men went into the half-time break 1-0 down on the scoreline.

Anthony Gordon finally managed to equalise for the Tyneside club in the 76th minute with a good finish from close range. The contest ended with Newcastle being held to a 1-1 draw at the Vitality Stadium.

Let’s take a look at how each Newcastle United player performed during the clash against the Cherries.

GK: Nick Pope – 7/10

Pope made a few solid saves at the back but won’t be pleased about conceding in the first half.

RB: Tino Livramento – 6/10

He did his fair share of defending but offered very little going forward.

CB: Emil Krafth – 6.5/10

Krafth earned possession back a few times on the defensive end of the field and was good on the ball.

CB: Dan Burn – 7/10

He performed his defensive duties well and was a threat at the other end of the field.
