Liverpool entertained Brentford at Anfield earlier this evening as they looked to secure all three points at home in the Premier League. The Reds made a quick start to the game and got their noses ahead thanks to Luis Diaz’s good finish in the 13th minute. The Merseyside club controlled the game well and managed to get to the half-time break 1-0 up on the scoreline.
Mohamed Salah killed the game off with a clinical finish in the 70th minute. The contest ended with Arne Slot’s men securing a solid 2-0 win at Anfield.

Konate performed his defensive duties well and did enough to restrict the opposition from scoring this evening.

The Dutch talent was a rock at the back and was accurate with his ball distribution.
LB: Andy Robertson – 7.5/10
He was full of energy and running on the left flank. Robertson also came back to defend when required.
CM: Ryan Gravenberch – 7/10
Gravenberch anchored the midfield well but offered very little in the final third.
CM: Alexis Mac Allister – 7/10
He earned the ball back twice and made two good chances for others around him in the Brentford half.
CM: Dominik Szoboszlai – 7/10
Szoboszlai worked hard and managed to engineer two inviting opportunities for his teammates to score.
RW: Mohamed Salah – 8/10
Salah was a constant menace on the right wing and managed to score in the 70th minute. He has also got an assist to his name.
ST: Diogo Jota – 7.5/10
He caught the eye at times on the offensive third of the pitch but there was no goal for him.
LW: Luis Diaz – 9/10
Diaz caused a lot of problems for the Brentford defenders and has got a goal and an assist to show for his efforts.
