Tottenham Hotspur are preparing to host Everton at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in the Premier League this weekend. The former side had a sloppy start to the new season as they had to settle for a 1-1 draw against Leicester City.
Hence, Spurs will look to do better when they take onto the field on Saturday. While a few changes are expected to take place, the core of the side will remain the same. It will be interesting to see how they do with the support of the home fans.
4-3-3 Tottenham Hotspur Predicted Lineup Vs Everton
Defence
Guglielmo Vicario made a match-determining save against Leicester City towards the business end. No doubt about his place in the goal. Right-back Pedro Porro did a fine job, especially on the offensive front in the final third.
The duo of Cristian Romero and Micky van de Ven should remain intact as the heart of the defence. They will have an important role to play if Spurs want to collect all three points. Destiny Udogie is likely to retain his place as the left full-back but he needs to do well in all aspects.
Midfield
Ange Postecoglou’s side will be without the services of Rodrigo Bentancur, who suffered a blow in the previous game. It means Alfie Gray could earn his first-ever start for the English giants. Pape Sarr and James Maddison did enough to retain their respective spots in the midfield.
A boost for Spurs as Yves Bissouma is available again having served a one-match ban.
Attack
Dominic Solanke should continue to lead the attacking line with Son Heung-min charging from the left-hand side. On the other hand, Dejan Kulusevski could start on the right wing ahead of Brennan Johnson. It also means Richarlison will have to warm the bench and wait for his turn.
