Manchester United entertained Fulham at Old Trafford earlier tonight as they hoped to earn a positive result at home in the Premier League. The Red Devils made a bright start to the game but were held to a scoreless draw at the half-time break.

Joshua Zirkzee came off the bench and finally broke the deadlock in the 87th minute as Erik ten Hag’s men earned a narrow 1-0 win at the Theatre of Dreams.

Onana made a couple of important saves at the back and secured a crucial clean sheet in front of the home fans.

LB: Diogo Dalot – 7/10

Dalot kept things solid when defending inside his half but was quiet going forward.

CM: Casemiro – 8/10

He anchored the midfield well and managed to engineer a few promising chances for his teammates in the final third.

CM: Kobe Mainoo – 8/10

Mainoo protected his backline well and made some decent runs with the ball.

RW: Amad Diallo – 6.5/10

He earned possession back twice and had a couple of bright moments in the opponent’s half.

CAM: Mason Mount – 6.5/10

The English talent made two good chances for his teammates to score. He wasted a good chance to score himself in the second half.

LW: Marcus Rashford – 6.5/10

He worked hard but produced a lackluster display in the final third.

ST: Bruno Fernandes – 7/10

Fernandes was always willing to have a strike at goal and would be disappointed after wasting a few excellent chances to score.
