The French forward is versatile to play as a centre-foward or also operate on both wings. He has a good successful passing rate and can also dribble his way out. With clinical finishing skills and effective in aerial duels, he comes a complete attacker.
Alternative for Nicolas Jackson?
Chelsea have been focusing in acquiring talented young bloods ever since the new owner took over. Hence, their alleged interest in Mathys Tel is totally understandable. The club are confident on the youngster’s abilities and feel he could a star in making.
Though Mathys Tel might not be a starter at Stamford Bridge, his arrival will add depth to the attacking unit. He will be played as a cover for Nicolas Jackson. Moreover, the inconsitent performances of Raheem Sterling, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke call for a need of new signing.
Bayern Munich wouldn’t want to let the talented kid leave so easily. Hence, the Blues might have to offer a good price to get his signature in the summer should they decide to go after him. The picture is expected to be clearer in the coming weeks.
