In a recent report, journalist Gerard Romero stated that Barcelona have been offered a chance to sign France international Adrien Rabiot. It has been claimed that the Catalan club have been given an opportunity to sign the former Juventus midfielder this summer.
Rabiot’s Impressive Season In Italian Football
Rabiot had a decent campaign at the Italian club recently as he managed to put in a run of influential performances for them in the middle of the park. The French midfield ace made 35 appearances for Juve last season, netting five goals and securing three assists in various competitions.
The 29-year-old proved his worth at both ends of the pitch and deserves credit for averaging 1.9 tackles, 0.8 interceptions, 0.9 clearances, 1.2 shots, 0.8 key passes and 0.9 dribbles per game in Serie A. Rabiot is a free agent at the moment as he was released by Juventus recently. Hence, Barcelona could sign him on a free transfer if Hansi Flick is willing to offer him a chance to shine at the Nou Camp.
