Ronaldinho Shares Harsh Verdict On The Brazilian National Team Ahead Of The Copa America

In a recent interview, Brazilian football legend Ronaldinho shared a harsh verdict on the current Brazilian national team ahead of their participation in the Copa America which is set to kick off in the United States of America later this month. However, their recent form has been far from convincing ahead of the prestigious tournament.

Ronaldinho’s criticism came after Brazil‘s 1-1 draw against the United States in a recent friendly match. The Brazilian maestro said,

“That’s it guys, I will not watch any Brazil game at the Copa América nor celebrate any victory”.

“I’ve had enough. It’s a sad moment for those who love Brazilian football. It’s hard now to find the spirit to watch the games”.

“It’s one of the worst teams in the recent years, no respectable leaders, only average players for the majority”.

“I’ve never seen a situation as bad as this. Lack of love for Brazil shirt and lack of football”.

“Our performance has been one of the worst things I’ve ever seen, it’s such a shame”.

Ronaldinho’s comments follow Brazil’s 1-1 draw against the United States earlier this month. Rodrygo opened the goal-scoring for the Brazilians in the 17th minute which was cancelled out by Christian Pulisic’s effort just nine minutes later.

Ronaldinho has not hold back with his criticism and seems to be worried about the current state of Brazilian football.

The Brazilian national team will begin their Copa America adventures later this month as they are set to clash heads with Costa Rica in their opening game of the competition. Only time will tell whether the Brazilian can defy the odds and criticism by having a successful Cope America tournament in the Unites States this summer.
