Everton Are Eager To Recruit This Manchester United Full-Back: Should Dyche Snap Him Up?

In a recent report, talkSPORT stated that Everton are eager to recruit Manchester United full-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka. It has been claimed that the Toffees are showing interest in landing the English defender this summer.

Wan-Bissaka’s Impressive Season At Man United

Wan-Bissaka had a decent campaign at Old Trafford recently as he managed to put in a series of solid displays on the right side of Man United’s backline. The 26-year-old made 30 appearances for the Red Devils last season, picking up three assists in the process across various competitions.

The London-born talent has given a good account of himself on the right flank based on his average of 1.9 tackles, 1.9 interceptions, 2.5 clearances, 0.5 key passes and 0.8 dribbles per game in the Premier League. He has even been accurate when distributing the ball from the back after making 82.9% of his attempted passes in the English top tier (stats via whoscored).

His current contract at the Mancunian club will run out at the end of next season which could open the door for the Toffees to sign him on a cut-price deal later this summer.

Should Everton Boss Sean Dyche Snap Wan-Bissaka Up?

Wan-Bissaka loves a tackle and can scan the danger well to make some important interceptions for his team inside his half. He doesn’t mind clearing the danger when the opposition are on the front foot and can even create the odd chance for his teammates to find the back of the net.

The English talent is a powerful runner with the ball as well. He has got a wealth of experience in Premier League football and won’t take much time to settle into life at Goodison Park if Sean Dyche can manage to get a deal over the line for him this summer.

Wan-Bissaka would add more quality to Everton‘s defensive department. He would also help the Toffees steer clear of the Premier League’s relegation zone and cope with fixture congestion better in the coming years.

At 26, Wan-Bissaka is about to enter his prime soon which makes him a decent option for Everton this off-season. Thus, the Merseyside club should focus on trying everything in their power to snap him up in this summer transfer window.
