Real Madrid will face off against Borussia Dortmund at Wembley Stadium this Saturday as they hope to secure a positive result in the UEFA Champions League final. Los Blancos were held to a 0-0 draw by Real Betis recently, so they would be eager to get back to winning ways this weekend.
Carlo Ancelotti will set his side up in a 4-3-1-2 formation and is expected to name a strong first team for this game. Los Blancos will be unchanged for the Champions League final which means that both Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. will lead the charge for the Madrid giants up top.
4-3-1-2 Real Madrid Predicted Lineup To Face Borussia Dortmund
Defence
Thibaut Courtois will feature in between the sticks for the Madrid club after he kept a clean sheet in his last appearance. Antonio Rudiger will resume his defensive partnership with Nacho at the heart of Real Madrid’s defence as they look to keep things solid at the back during the 90 minutes.
Dani Carvajal will try to catch the eye as the right-back while Ferland Mendy hopes to impress on the other flank as the left-back. Both of them will get the license to get forward and express themselves in the Dortmund half.
Eder Militao and Lucas Vazquez will offer cover for the defensive positions on the bench.
Midfield
Federico Valverde, Eduardo Camavinga and Toni Kroos will make up Ancelotti’s midfield as they focus on winning the 50-50 battles at the centre of the park. All three of them need to move the ball well if they are to create enough clear-cut chances for Real Madrid to win this contest.
Jude Bellingham will play in the number ten position and is expected to carry most of the creative burden for Los Blancos in the final third.
Dani Ceballos will be named on the bench as he waits for his chance to make an impact in the latter stages if required.
Attack
Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr. will spearhead Real Madrid’s attack in the final third. Both of them will have to combine well if they are to cause some problems for the Dortmund centre-backs during the game.
Brahim Diaz will have to settle for a place on the bench and might come on to influence the game in the second 45 minutes if needed.
